Marketers seek extension of Super Bowl spots online

Traditional rivals such as Coca-Cola and PepsiCo will be duking it out for social media reach before, during and after the Super Bowl. Coke wants fans of their polar bears to tweet about them and visit dedicated sites, while Pepsi is using the Shazam application for free downloads of a Melanie Amaro music video when her spot comes up during the game.
