Among video viewers the most popular portal for watching such contents is YouTube (87 percent), 26 percent of viewers watch videos through Google video, and the third most popular is the largest home video portal Mojvideo.com with 24 percent of viewers.
The most popular among web video contents remain news, followed by music videos that overtook funny videos that were in second place in 2008, which are now sharing third place together with weather forecasts.

On behalf of watching video web contents 37% of interviewed watch less TV. Survey participants usually watch video contents between 7 and 10 p.m., same as two years ago. In this time frame 60 percent of survey participants watch video contents. Popular times for watching video reveal to be also during 4 p.m. and 7 p.m and after 10 p.m., but for users younger than 35.
Users still mainly access video contents through web browsers (53 percent), but now they more often than in 2008 search for videos on the video portal itself.
36 percent of web users have already published a video content on the web. Half of them are men younger than 35, and one third in this group are women. But only a quarter of participants older than 35, have already published a video on the web.
Among the survey participants there are 83 percent of them who have already received a link to a video content though internet and 68 percent of them forwarded a link to a video content to other users. 57 of users also rated a video content, a little less (49 percent) of Slovene web users commented video content published on the internet. 6 percent of survey participant have already paid to watch a video content.
The survey was carried out through a web questionnaire in December 2009 and January 2010, with 1662 of users answering the questionnaire.
